Our contribution to the exhibition dedicated to the Arfio mascot of the ARF festival in Rome in which we took part.

ARF: Comic festival in Rome

Per la prima volta siamo state dall’altra parte, dietro i tavoli ad esporre i nostri lavori e possiamo solo ringraziare i ragazzi di NuPress per l’opportunità.
Giornata veloce e intensa, abbiamo fatto il firma compie su alcuni volumi di Nuname 10 e siamo anche riuscite a vendere 3 delle nostre cartoline realizzate tutte a mano per l’occasione (come prima volta non ce lo aspettavamo).
Il tempo ci ha assistite, e trovandoci a Roma per un giorno ne abbiamo approfittato per fare le turiste. Non eravamo mai state nella zona della Piramide e prima di andare via ne abbiamo anche approfittato per vedere di nuovo il Colosseo.

For the first time we have been on the other side, behind the tables to exhibit our works and we can only thank the guys from NuPress for the opportunity.
Fast and intense day, we signed some volumes of Nuname 10 and we also managed to sell 3 of our postcards all handmade for the occasion (as the first time we didn’t expect it).
Time assisted us, and finding ourselves in Rome for a day we took advantage of it to be tourists. We had never been to the Pyramid area and before leaving we also took the opportunity to see the Colosseum again.

Intervista su ISOLA per Nina Panini

Ciao, volevamo condividere con voi un’esperienza avuta l’anno scorso.
Nina Panini, Graphic Designer e Visual Art Teacher, ci aveva contattato per una intervista per la sua associazione ISOLA (con base a San Pietroburgo- Russia), un’accogliente isola creativa per gli amanti dell’arte e delle lingue straniere.
E’ stata una nostra amica russa, Olga, a presentarci Nina e siamo state molto lusingate trattandosi della nostra prima intervista.
L’emozione si può anche sentire nel video in allegato, come si nota era in inglese e l’agitazione è stata doppia.

Hi, we wanted to share with you an experience we had last year.
Nina Panini, Graphic Designer and Visual Art Teacher, had contacted us for an interview for her association ISOLA (based in St. Petersburg – Russia), a cozy creative island for lovers of art and foreign languages.
It was a Russian friend of ours, Olga, who introduced us to Nina and we were very flattered by giving away our first interview.
The emotion can also be felt in the attached video, as you can see it was in English and the agitation was double.

〜Hello! We are full of Christmas and the year is about to end. ICAN: Nobel for Peace

As soon as we knew the news we thought that this deserves a hold on the site. It is important news to confirm that having or trying to get nuclear weapons is illegal and dangerous. Now even those who underestimate the question who deny it know that nuclear weapons are banned, thanks to the recognition of the Nobel Peace Prize 2017 at ICAN (International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons), which continues to fight for everyone to promote accession and the full implementation of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

It is incredible to think that our country and many others are not adhering to this treaty, only for military alliances with countries that possess nuclear weapons, which obviously are prepared not to join the treaty.

This Nobel Peace Prize should be a warning for all these Warrior Promoter countries!!

Appena saputo la notizia abbiamo pensato che questo merita una mensione nel sito. E’ una notizia importante a conferma che avere o cerare di munirsi di arimi nucleari è illegale e pericoloso. Ora anche coloro che sottovalutano la questione, che la negano, sanno che le armi nucleari sono bandite, questo grazie al riconoscimento del Premio Nobel della Pace 2017 all’ ICAN (International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons), che continua a lottare per tutti per promuovere l’adesione e la piena implementazione del Trattato per la proibizione delle armi nucleari.

E’ incredibile pensare che il nostro paese e molti altri non aderiscano a questo trattato, solo per alleanze militari con paesi che detengono armi nucleri, che ovviamente si predispongono a non unirsi a qesto trattato.

Questo Nobel per la pace dovrebbe essere da monito per tutti questi paesi guerrafondai!

Because of the earthquakes in our area during the end of last year (August 24, 26 and 30 October 2016) we are no longer able to update our site. We apologize for this. These months were complicated and unfortunately, our town has had some damage.

These days we managed to upgrade some galleries. We hope you enjoy our works.

A causa del terremoti nella nostra zona durante la fine dello scorso anno ( 24 Agosto, 26 e 30 Ottobre, 2016) non siamo più riuscite ad aggiornare il nostro sito. Ci scusiamo per questo. Sono stati mesi complicati e purtroppo anche la nostra città ha avuto qualche danno.

In questi giorni siamo riuscite ad aggiornare alcune gallerie. Ci auguriamo che vi piacciano i nostri lavori.

Earthquake in central Italy

Siamo ancora scosse per quanto è avvenuto il 24 Agosto. Da molto non sentivamo così bene e forte un terremoto.

Alle 3:36 am stavamo per andare a dormire, eravamo sul letto quando tutto ha iniziato a tremare. Tanta paura!

Si cerca di tornare alla normalità, tranquillità, ma la sensazione lasciata da quella notte è ancora addosso.

Siamo veramente addolorate per tutte le persone colpite direttamente dal terremoto… 250 morti accertati.

Noi ricordiamo bene la casa dei nostri nonni materni, quando nel terremoto del 1997 era venuta giù una parte.

Speriamo che le scosse di assestamento finiscano presto e che le persone possano avere l’aiuto che meritano!

We are still in shock what happened on August 24. For a long time we did not feel so well and strong an earthquake.

At 3:36 am we were about to go to sleep, we were on the bed when everything started shaking. Very afraid!

Trying to get back to normal, calm, but the feeling left from that night is still upon us.

We are truly sorrowful for all those affected directly by the earthquake… 250 confirmed dead.

We remember well the home of our grandparents, when in 1997 with earthquake, was destroyed by a side.

We hope that the aftershocks end up soon and that people can get the help they deserve!
