In un post precedente abbiamo parlato dell’uscita del film “BELLE – il drago e la principessa con le lentigini” (竜とそばかすの姫 Ryu to Sobakasu no Hime) e come Anime Factory avesse creato un contest di disegno per la promozione. Noi siamo risultate tra i 10 vicintori e siamo felici di mostravi il premo che stavamo aspettando.
Dalla foto potete vedere, insieme al nostro lavoro, la stampa con il disegno e l’autografo del regista Mamoru Hosoda; questa è una delle 10 copie limitate messe a disposizione del contest. Siamo veramente felici perchè consideriamo Hosoda tra i migliori registi di animazione in Giappone ed inoltre abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo questo nuovo film.
Ora non ci resta che aspettare l’uscita del DVD!

In a previous post we talked about the release of the movie “BELLE – the dragon and the princess with freckles” (竜 と そ ば か す の 姫 Ryu to Sobakasu no Hime) and how Anime Factory had created a design contest for the promotion. We were among the 10 vicintori and we are happy to show you the prize we were waiting for.
From the photo you can see, together with our work, the print with the drawing and autograph of the director Mamoru Hosoda; this is one of the 10 limited copies made available to the contest. We are really happy because we consider Hosoda among the best animation directors in Japan and we also really enjoyed this new film.
Partiamo con le buone notizie che ultimamente ci sta dando il sito ART street di MediBang . Per chi non lo conosce si tratta di una comunity per appassionati di illustrazione e manga, dove periodicamente vengono organizzati vari tipi di contest con in palio grandi e piccoli premi. Ogni venerdi c’è la sfida 『1 ora di disegno』 dove viene dato un tema poco prima dell’inizio e si ha un ora di tempo per postarlo. 🔸11 Marzo il tema era il “PANDA” e il nostro disegno è risultato vincitore, facendoci anche guadagnare un premio di 5000 ¥ (quasi 37€) …………………… Let’s start with the good news that MediBang’s ART street site has been giving us lately. For those unfamiliar with it, it is a community for illustration and manga enthusiasts, where various types of contests are periodically organized with large and small prizes up for grabs. Every Friday there is the 『1 hour drawing』 challenge where a theme is given just before the start and you have an hour to post it. 🔸March 11th the theme was “PANDA” and our drawing was the winner, also earning us a prize of 5000 ¥ (almost 37 €)
Il 17 marzo al cinema è uscito il film di animazione “BELLE – il drago e la principessa con le lentigini” (竜とそばかすの姫 Ryu to Sobakasu no Hime) scritto e diretto da Mamoru Hosoda. Abbiamo apprezzato anche altri film di Hosoda-sensei e naturalmente non potevamo perderci questo film, che tratta in maniera alternativa e moderna una delle nostre fiabe preferite, “La Bella e la Bestia”. Per l’uscita del film inoltre Anime Factory, in collaborazione con NippoNotes e Anime Click, ha organizzato un contest dal titolo “Disegna Belle” con in palio 10 copie numerate e disegnate da Mamoru Hosada. Noi abbiamo partecipando pubblicando sui social, sotto la tag #LaMiaBelle , la nostra illustrazione che alla fine è stata selezionata tra i dieci vincitori. Presto riceveremo l’opera autografata ed inoltre abbiamo saputo che i disegni vincitori saranno inseriti negli extra dell’uscita Home Video, quindi aspettiamo con ansia di poterlo comprare. Sotto vi lasciamo vedere il nostro disegno, realizzato per l’occasione in maniera tradizionale (Acquerello, acrilico e glitter pen) in più il video di Mamoru Hosoda che disegna Belle.

On March 17 th the animated film “BELLE – the dragon and the princess with freckles” (竜 と そ ば か す の 姫 Ryu to Sobakasu no Hime) was released, written and directed by Mamoru Hosoda. We also enjoyed other Hosoda-sensei films and of course we couldn’t miss this film, which deals in an alternative and modern way one of our favorite fairy tales, “Beauty and the Beast”. In addition, for the release of the film Anime Factory, in collaboration with NippoNotes and Anime Click, organized a contest entitled “Disegna Belle” with 10 numbered copies designed by Mamoru Hosada to be won. We have participated by publishing on social networks, under the #LaMiaBelle tag, our illustration that was ultimately selected among the ten winners. We will soon receive the autographed work and also we have learned that the winning designs will be included in the extras of the Home Video release, so we look forward to being able to buy it. Below we let you see our drawing, made for the occasion in a traditional way (Watercolor, acrylic and glitter pen) plus the video by Mamoru Hosoda who draws Belle.

Per celebrare l’uscita del volume 100, a ottobre si è tenuto il 5th JUMP’s Universal Illustration Contest Theme: ONE PIECE attraverso il sito di ARTstreet/Medibang e proprio il mangaka Eiichiro Oda, insieme al JUMP Editorial Department , sono stati i giudici del concorso. Come fans di ONE PIECE non ci siamo fatte scappare l’occasione per mostrare i nostri lavori all’autore e abbiamo proposto 4 fanart che nel tempo abbiamo realizzato. Il concorso ha richiamato un gran numero di fans (quasi più di 2000 lavori), tra i quali molti meritevoli, e ammettiamo che non era facile riuscire a spuntarla ma sapere che uno dei nostri autori preferiti possa vedere i nostri lavori ci rendeva felici. Ieri comunque è arrivata la bella notizia della nostra vittoria, insieme con altri 4 artisti, per il secondo premio. Un risultato che non ci aspettavamo proprio e adesso non vediamo l’ora di ricevere il premio.

Our work “The pirate king’s wings” has been selected among the winners of the “Selected winners” category!
To celebrate the release of volume 100, the 5th JUMP’s Universal Illustration Contest Theme: ONE PIECE was held in October through the ARTstreet / Medibang website and mangaka Eiichiro Oda, together with the JUMP Editorial Department, were the judges of the competition. . As fans of ONE PIECE we did not miss the opportunity to show our works to the author and we proposed 4 fanarts that we have created over time. The competition attracted a large number of fans (almost more than 2000 works), among which many deserving ones, and we admit that it was not easy to get it right but knowing that one of our favorite authors could see our works made us happy. Yesterday, however, the good news arrived of our victory, together with 4 other artists, for the second prize. A result that we didn’t really expect and now we can’t wait to receive the award.

Questa è la nostra versione creata per la “Mascotte contest della Tora Edizioni”. La loro mascotte si chiama Len e alla fine tra varie proposte davvero molto belle la nostra è risultata la vincitrice. Siamo state felici del risultato e che lo staff della Tora ed. abbia apprezzato il nostro lavoro.

This is our version created for the “Tora Edizioni Mascot Contest”. Their mascot is called Len and in the end, among various very beautiful proposals, ours was the winner.We were happy with the result and that the staff of the Tora Ed. appreciated our work.

Hi! We inform you about the 8th issue of NUNAME magazine. As mentioned in previous posts, inside there are comics stories, comic strips and illustrations by various emerging artists, who have passed a selection so that they could be published.
In this issue you will also find our comic story with which we debut and the title is “La Sua Ombra” (“His Shadow” – you can preview the cover above). Our story has 20 pages, is one shot, digitally made in black / white with screens tones. The text is in Italian language. The story is of a dramatic genre, with shades that tend towards horror and various references to psychology as well. This story has been in our notes for a long time and we are very happy to have had the opportunity to publish it in this magazine. We thank very much the Nupress staff, who are in charge of the publication and selection for the magazine, because they have helped and supported us a lot, we have learned a lot from this group and from all the participants.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, this year the Nupress staff was unable to bring this volume around the comic fairs to advertise it, which is happening through the internet. So a lot depends on sharing and word of mouth among us comic’s fans to make known the interesting works inside. Ciao! Vi informiamo dell’uscita numero 8 del magazine NUNAME. Come accennato in precedenti post, all’interno vi sono fumetti, illustrazioni e vignette di vari artisti emergenti, che hanno superato una selezione affinché potessero essere pubblicati.
In questa uscita troverete inoltre la nostra storia con cui debuttiamo e il titolo è “La Sua Ombra” (potete vedere in anteprima la cover qui sopra). La nostra storia conta 20 pagine, è autoconclusiva, realizzata in digitale in bianco/nero con retini. La storia è di genere drammatico, con sfumature che tendono all’horror e vari riferimenti anche alla psicologia. Questa storia era tra i nostri appunti da molto tempo e siamo molto felici di avere avuto la possibilità di pubblicarla su questa rivista. Ringraziamo molto lo staff di Nupress, che si occupa della pubblicazione e selezione per la rivista, perché ci hanno aiutato e supportato molto, abbiamo imparato molto da questo gruppo e da tutti i partecipanti.
Purtroppo a causa del Covid-19, quest’anno lo staff di Nupress non ha potuto portare in giro per le fiere del fumetto questo volume per pubblicizzarlo, cosa che sta invece avvenendo attraverso internet. Quindi molto dipende dalla condivisione e dal passaparola tra noi fan dei fumetti per far conoscere le interessanti opere all’interno. Hi! Another post dedicated to our comic for NuName magazine. Here we continue to share various Work In Progress, taken from some moments of history and also from the studies of some settings. As you can understand, our comic will be completely digital (A new thing for us), it will also be in black / white with the addition of screens tones.
Working on it is very demanding but seeing the results gives us a lot of satisfaction. We can’t wait for you to see the full work!

Ciao! Altro post dedicato al nostro fumetto per la rivista NuName. Qui continuiamo a condividere vari Work In Progress, tratti da alcuni momenti della storia e anche dagli studi di alcune ambientazioni. Come potete ben capire, il nostro fumetto sarà realizzato completamente in digitale (Una cosa nuova per noi), inoltre sarà in bianco/nero con l’aggiunta di retini.
Lavorare ad esso è molto impegnativo ma vederne i risultati ci danno molta soddisfazione. Non vediamo l’ora che possiate anche voi vederlo completo!
New updates regarding our comic story’s project for Nuname magazine.
The project has continued and our story is well under way, we are really happy with the positive feedback it is finding among the members who participate in Nuname. We are not yet allowed to share all the material of our work, because we remind you it will be made available in November 2020 with the publication of the magazine Nuname 8.
So for now we have been allowed to share fragments of the Work In Progress of our story. As you can see from the two images above. So from here on we will not fail to publish only what we are allowed.

Nuovi aggiornamenti sul progetto della nostra storia a fumetti per la rivista Nuname.
Il progetto è andato avanti e la nostra storia è a buon punto, siamo davvero felici dei riscontri positivi che sta ritrovando tra i membri che partecipano a Nuname. Non ci è permesso ancora condividere tutto il materiale del nostro lavoro, perchè vi ricordiamo sarà reso disponibile a Novembre 2020 con la pubblicazione della rivista Nuname 8.
Quindi per ora ci è stato permesso di condividere dei frammenti del Work In Progress della nostra storia. Come potete vedere dalle due immagini sovrastanti. Quindi da qui in poi non mancheremo di pubblicare solo ciò che ci è permesso.

ITA – Ci sono novità! Avevamo già accennato in un journal dell’anno scorso che eravamo riuscite a passare un contest indetto dalla rivista NuName, dedicato ad artisti italiani emergenti come, fumettisti, illustratori, coloristi e scrittori. In palio per i migliori una pubblicazione! Noi avevamo partecipato per la sezione fumetto. Il passo successivo era stato quello di presentare una storia originale e bene, vi informiamo che la nostra storia è passata al loro giudizio!
Per il momento non possiamo divulgare informazioni o disegni sulla nostra storia, perchè abbiamo un accordo di non divulgazione ma potrete vedere la nostra storia proprio sulla rivista numero 8 di NuName a Novembre 2020. Siamo molto elettrizzate all’idea di vedere finalmente un nostro fumetto pubblicato!
Nella rivista ci saranno molte storie e illustrazioni di vari artisti e siamo felici di essere con loro in questa esperienza, da cui stiamo ricevendo molto, anche come supporto creativo. Ognuno mette in campo le proprie esperienze per aiutare gli altri, questo è un bel gruppo.
