Primo post del 2021 e lo dedichiamo al trio dei fratelli di ONE PIECE: Ace, Sabo e Luffy.
Questa domenica è uscito il tanto atteso capitolo numero 1000 di ONE PIECE (1000!! c’è da sentirsi vecchi pensando al primo volume uscito in Giappone nel 1997) cosi abbiamo deciso di pubblicare per l’occasione questo fanart, rimasto a lungo in attesa perchè abbiamo voluto cambiare lo sfondo ai personaggi. Basti dire che prima avevano un ambientazione solo di rocce , fumo e molte fiamme ma ci sembrava non respirasse, cosi eccoli ora sopra una roccia grondante lava tra i fumi e il vapore nel mare. La scelta della lava sotto i loro piedi non è un caso. Congratulazione ODA-SENSEI per il traguardo raggiunto!

First post of 2021 and we dedicate it to trio of ONE PIECE brothers: Ace, Sabo and Luffy.
This Sunday the long awaited chapter number 1000 of ONE PIECE was released (1000 !! you have to feel old thinking about the first volume released in Japan in 1997) so we decided to publish this fanart for the occasion, which has been waiting for a long time. because we wanted to change the background of the characters. Suffice it to say that before they had only rocks, smoke and lots of flames but it didn’t seem to breathe, so here they are now on a rock dripping lava between the fumes and the vapor in the sea. The choice of lava under their feet is no accident. Congratulations ODA-SENSEI for the achievement!
A new illustration. We worked hard on it and we are happy to present it here. Everything started from Yoshiwara’s research, which was a famous yūkaku (red-light district) in Edo, present-day Tōkyō, Japan. The Oiran were the most famous and beautiful courtesans in the district.
We are very satisfied with the final result, especially for the details of the clothes and the light. We like these characters so much that perhaps we will keep them aside to develop a story in which to insert them.

🌸𝑶𝑰𝑹𝑨𝑵. Il bel fiore del distretto di Yoshiwara 🌸
Una nuova illustrazione. Ci abbiamo lavorato molto siamo felice di presentarla qui. Tutto è iniziato dalla ricerca di Yoshiwara, il quale era un famoso yūkaku (quartiere a luci rosse) a Edo, l’attuale Tōkyō, in Giappone. Le Oiran erano le cortigiane più famose e belle del quartiere.
Siamo molto soddisfatti del risultato finale, soprattutto per i dettagli degli abiti e della luce. Ci piacciono così tanto questi personaggi che forse li terremo da parte per sviluppare una storia in cui inserirli.

A few months ago we participated in a challenge called “Six Fanart”. Through Instagram and Facebook, we asked that someone suggest us some characters that we would then represent with our style. We had a lot of fun representing familiar characters and characters that we had never represented. We had already taken part in a similar challenge last year, who knows if there will be a new opportunity in the future.

Qualche mese fa abbiamo partecipato ad una challenge chiamata “Six Fanart”. Attraverso Instagram e Facebook, avevamo chiesto che qualcuno ci suggerisse dei personaggi che noi avremmo poi rappresentato con il nostro stile. Ci siamo molto divertite a rappresentare personaggi a noi familiari e personaggi che non avevamo mai rappresentato. Avevamo già preso parte ad una challenge simile l’anno scorso, chissà che in futuro non si ricrei una nuova occasione.

Finalmente torniamo con 2 nuovi disegni! In giro per Instagram ci era capitato di vedere molti utenti e artisti ricreare nel proprio stile alcune immagini tratte dalla serie anime di Sailor Moon. Molti hanno ritratto la protagonista, ed altri utenti anche gli altri personaggi della serie. Quindi interessate anche noi a questa specie di “Sailor Moon challenge”, abbiamo deciso di ricreare due immagini che ritraessero due dei personaggi che più amiamo, Michiru (Sailor Neptune) and Haruka (Sailor Uranus) [In Italia avevano altri nomi, rispettivamente Milena e Eles] Come riferimento abbiamo seguito un immagine tratta dalla serie storica di Sailor Moon (con la quale siamo cresciute) e un altra tratta dalla nuova serie riproposta Sailor Moon Christal. Questo è il risultato e siamo soddisfatte del loro risultato. Li abbiamo creati utilizzando Clip Studio Paint EX. Chissà quale voi preferite di più delle due?

Finally we come back with 2 new drawings! Around Instagram we had seen many users and artists recreate in their style some images taken from the anime series of Sailor Moon. Many have portrayed the protagonist, and other users also the other characters in the series. So we are also interested in this kind of “Sailor Moon challenge”, we decided to recreate two images that depicted two of the characters we most love, Michiru (Sailor Neptune) and Haruka (Sailor Uranus) [In Italy they had other names, Milena and Eles] As a reference we followed an image taken from the historical series of Sailor Moon (with which we grew up) and another from the new series proposed by Sailor Moon Christal. This is the result and we are satisfied with their result. We created them using Clip Studio Paint EX. Who knows which one you prefer more than the two?
Finalmente abbiamo finito un disegno tributo per due grandi cantanti italiani: la bellissima CRISTINA D’AVENA e il capitano GIORGIO VANNI.
Sono due grandi interpreti di canzoni dedicate alle sigle dei cartoni animati che sono stati trasmessi nel nostro paese e loro, insieme o singolarmente, hanno accompagnato l’infanzia della nostra generazione, attirando persone e bambini di tutte le età ai loro concerti. Sono un cult della musica e con loro possiamo essere di nuovo tutti bambini!
Abbiamo già visto Cristina D’Avena due volte e ci piacerebbe anche vedere un live di Giorgio Vanni, ma la cosa che sogniamo è vederli cantare insieme.

Finally we have finished a tribute drawing for two great Italian singers: the beautiful CRISTINA D’AVENA and the captain GIORGIO VANNI.
They are two great interpreters of songs dedicated to the theme songs of cartoons that have been transmitted in our country and they, together or individually, have accompanied the childhood of our generation, attracting people and children of all ages to their concerts. They are a cult of music and with them we can all be children again!
We have already seen Cristina D’Avena twice and we would also like to see a Giorgio Vanni live, but the thing we dream of is seeing them sing together

Dopo “ONE PIECE: MONSTER TRIO NEW LOOK“, oggi torniamo con un’altra fanart dedicata al nostro amato MONSTER TRIO di One Piece!
Questa volta li abbiamo rappresentati in attacco in posa, con il loro tradizionale outfit, in riva al mare pronti ad affrontare l’avversario davanti a loro.
Siamo soddisfatti del dinamismo della composizione e della trasparenza dell’acqua di mare sulla spiaggia.
Stiamo migliorando con il digitale e dopo questi due fanart dedicati a One Piece ci ha fatto piacere riscontrare delle approvazioni.
